APPLICATION
Intensive dampeners
are operated in cleaning plants of flour mills for moisture control
of grain and adjustment of its conditions to the milling process.
It is used for intensive and uniform damping of skin layers of
processed grain. The grain can be treated in one or more steps
of dampening and
tampering with regard to the raw material quality.
OPERATION
The dampening of grain is performed in a horizontal working cylinder
with a rotor fitted with a row of beaters. During their travel
through the damping cylinder, individual grains move rapidly
and continuously, which helps water to penetrate into their skin
layers. Addition of water is controlled by flow-meter. On grain
feed interruption, supply of water is automatically stopped by
an electromagnetic valve controlled by a sensor in the machine
inlet.
FEATURES
High moisture addition
Uniform moisture distribution
and absorption
Complete self cleaning
Reduction of the tampering time
Large volume of water addition
, up to 5%, possible on shortest distance
Self emptying
Meets today's requirements regarding
sanitation and maintenance
