APPLICATION
Dry de-stoner is designed for the continuous removal of stones from the grain processing line during the cereal cleaning procedure. Differences in the terminal velocity of the material and that of the heavy impurities like stones, metal, glass etc. leads to effective and reliable separation. The stoner may also be used for separating different materials as well as light and heavy grains.

OPERATION
Grain is fed to the machine through a spreader and uniformly distributed over the screen. This flow of stock is stratified as per specific gravity due to the screen motion and air flow through the material from bottom to top. The lighter particles settle at the top whereas the stones and other heavy particles at the base.

GRAVITY SEPARATOR
This machine is used to separate heavy particles as stones, metallic parts, glass etc. out of the grain stream according to the density. The grain separation can be delivered with or without air cycling system.
